for ARKIMEDE® and HERCULES®

KERADECK® 30 is an aluminium joist for decking and paving. It has been designed so that one side of the joist allows for the application of clips for decking, whilst the other side can be used for the laying of tiles for exterior raised paving.

The use of 2-Way and 4-Way adaptors guarantee perfect fitting on all ARKIMEDE® (Arkimede® 10 excepted) and Hercules pedestals.

Connectors allow linear, T-shaped and overlapping junctions between multiple KERADECK® 30 joists.

Cross sped spacers (available for 2, 3, 4 and 5mm joints), once attached to the paving side, allow for equidistant laying of tiles for outdoor flooring.

Adaptors are made of PP (polypropylene), the joist of aluminium and the connectors are made of PA (polyamide) .

This product is used in the construction of supporting structures for the laying of outdoor decking and paving. It is recommended that pedestal supports are placed every 50cm.

Dakota’s windproofing kit is composed of one cross clip (joint of 3mm or 4mm with removeable tabs) that fits perfectly to the KERADECK® 30 joist, one screw (h.20mm or 30mm) and one washer to lock the flooring tiles.

The system is designed to connect all the tiles of the flooring into one solid surface (since they are linked together) to the KERADECK® 30 joist and then to the ARKIMEDE® or HERCULES® supports.

Once all the tiles are connected together, the combined weight of the floor surface reduces the uplift effect of strong wind, giving increased resistance and stability to the whole system.

This product is available for KEDADECK® 30 joists and bayonet adaptors only.

The maximum tile thickness for use with this product is 20mm, which can be fixed in 2 ways:

• Hidden fixing mode. The washer needs to be placed in a previously cut slot on the side of the tile. Needs to be fixed with a 20mm screw.
• Visible fixing mode. The washer is placed on the top of the tiles. Needs to be fixed with a 30mm screw.
